Weston

Welcome to Weston

A private, family-driven community rooted in history and surrounded by lush landscapes

Nestled in the suburbs of Boston, Weston is a peaceful and inviting small town with a rich history. Dating back over 300 years, Weston boasts century-old homes, privacy, and a tranquility that is hard to come by.

This quaint community features a mix of architectural styles, from traditional colonial homes to modernist mid-century designs. The foundation of Weston's architecture is its traditional New England style, best represented in the town's historic homes, such as the colonial-style homes on Mayo Street, Grant Street, and Washington Street. Homes in these neighborhoods are stately and luxurious, offering upscale amenities and plenty of space on multi-acre lots.

Weston is located about 11 miles west of Boston, making it an ideal option for those who want access to big-city amenities, but prefer a slower lifestyle. With its small-town feel and easy access to nearby attractions, Weston is an excellent bedroom community and home to some of Boston’s wealthiest members.

Things to Do

Weston has a number of nature preserves, community events, and historical museums to visit. Cat Rock Park sits atop a picturesque hill overlooking the town. This popular park is one of many recreational sites in the area, but it stands apart due to its beautiful views, charming atmosphere, and walking trails.

Those who enjoy diving into history will love the Golden Ball Tavern Museum. This historic tavern is located in the heart of Weston and was initially built in the early 1790s. It is one of the few remaining taverns from this era. As a part of the Weston Historical Society, the Golden Ball Tavern serves as a museum where visitors can learn about the lives, customs, and culture of America’s Founding Fathers. The museum displays artifacts from the 1700s and 1800s that tell the story of early life in Weston. The society also hosts educational events such as period lectures and hands-on activities for children.

The town’s beloved Weston Town Hall’s activities occur on its historic green in Weston's center. Some of the most popular Town Green events include Music on the Green, a full summer concert series featuring various local bands, and Weston Outdoor Movie Nights, featuring classic films on a giant inflatable screen. The community comes together in the summer at Weston Summerfest, which features carnival rides, food trucks, and live music. Celebrate spring at Weston in Bloom, an event boasting art displays, a farmers’ market, and activities for children.
